Students use knowledge of vegetables to theoretically plant out their garden beds. This package of core maths resources ask students to produce a quote for a building a garden following a simple plan. Due to the large number of possible choices the students could make regarding their garden design.
Editor s note wonderful open ended project. Students are asked to use volume and area calculations unit conversions and create precedence table and activity network. As a result of this activity students are encouraged to apply their learning and build a garden of their own.
